SAA@CUA is the student chapter of the Society of American Archivists at the Catholic University of America. Here you will find links to archives in the greater Washington, DC metro area. The goal of our chapter is to learn about the rich and varied archival repositories in our area, to research their impact on archival theory and practice and share this information with students in our field.
Topics we are researching include historical development of archives in the DC area and important figures or events in the DC area that have contributed to the development of archival theory and practice. We also will be looking for featured collections in selected DC archives as examples to illustrate or showcase the American history of records and recordkeeping.
